About

I’m 61 but feel like I’m 21 while I’m seated. Seriously, I love being active, riding my bike, kayaking, rowing, hiking and working out at the gym and last but not least swimming, but I’m finding that I do not do any of those things without at some time being aware that the old body does not move like it once did. One of the advantages of having lived for 61 years is that I have had the opportunity to do many different things in my life to make a living. Primarily most of my career has been spent in the Real Estate Industry, which is where I work part time, but currently I am employed by the City of Sacramento.  I work at their 311 call center which is a story all unto itself!

I started this blog because I always have so much I want to say and not sure, besides my husband, who to say it to.  So a blog seems safe; it’s almost liking writing in a diary, but yet you know that someone may just read it, so it has an element of intrigue, like who might be reading this.

Some of my greatest accomplishments are being the Mother to 4 wonderful adults. 3 Daughters and 1 Son. They are all caring, loving, compassionate people who I love spending time with. Then there is my husband, who has stuck with me for 28 years; he is my strongest supporter and my geek extraodinaire as well as my best friend!

So I hope you will enjoy my posts, either through entertainment or provoking thought, because I intend on enjoying this process and will feel a bit of satisfaction knowing that I have caused a stirring in your thoughts as well.
